Alle 19 (ora italiana) di oggi sabato 10 novembre si tiene uno stress test presso il sim Apex. Seguire le consuete istruzioni usando pero’ il parametro -loginuri http://206.63.25.190:9000
Alle 20 si svolge invece il primo dei Test Hour settimanali indetti dal team degli sviluppatori di OpenSim. L’incontro si tiene nel sim Wright Plaza – che non si trova in Second Life, bensì in OSGrid, una rete di server OpenSim. Per accedere è necessario creare un account su http://www.osgrid.org e utilizzare il parametro -loginuri http://osgrid.org:8002.
I principali obiettivi delle Test Hour:
One is to checkout multi-avatar interaction and common scene/texture views. Another is to have an informal Teach & Learn about building/teraforming & OpenSim tips & tricks. A third is to intentionally attempt to crash the region in the last 5 minutes of the hour. This should be fun.

The OSGrid UGA, “Wright Plaza”, “Yang” & the CannonBalls have all been updated to r2322. They are running, login/walk/fly/logoff tested on the regions and ODE physics is enabled on all 11 regions with the latest build. I am now testing with the new 1.18.4.3 client which is a recommended download (thanks to Nebadon for pointing this out). Additionally, the UGA on OSGrid is running mono-1.2.5.1 as a test to see if the reliability and lockup issues change.
Alla fine di ottobre 2007 OSGrid contava 87 regioni, circa 500 utenti e 150 accessi giornalieri. Una caratteristica interessante di OSGrid e’ quella di interconnettere e mettere in comunicazione server ospitati in zone anche molto distanti del pianeta:
